Presidium
In accordance with the Articles of Association, the Executive Board of the Global Nature Fund consists of a minimum of three and a maximum of seven people. It is elected by the Federal Executive Board of Deutsche Umwelthilfe e. V. for a term of four years. The Executive Committee manages the Foundation in accordance with the Articles of Association and is obliged to handle the Foundation’s assets and other funds conscientiously and economically.
The international GNF Board of Directors works on an honorary basis and currently has the following members:

Founders’ Council
The Global Nature Fund was founded in 1998 through the capital contributions of Prof. Dr. Gerhard Thielcke, Prof. Dr. Thomas Feske, Jörg Dürr-Pucher, Michael Bauer, Jürgen Resch and Karla Bauer.
The Founders’ Council has the task of supporting the management and advising the Executive Board.
The Founders’ Council currently consists of the following persons:

- Jürgen Resch, Deputy Chairman
- Michael Blank
Scientific Advisory Board
The members of the Scientific Advisory Board support the work of the Global Nature Fund with their expertise, advice and contacts in an honorary capacity.
The Scientific Advisory Board currently has the following members:
