    The GNF is a non-profit foundation under private law, recognized in accordance with § 80 BGB by the Senate Administration for Justice in Berlin on April 29, 1998, No. 3416/584-II.2.

  2. Full statutes and objectives of our organization
    The foundation’s objectives are to promote nature conservation, environmental protection and animal welfare. International cooperation to promote international understanding and development aid is particularly important. These goals are realized through four thematic and project areas:

  3. Information on tax concessions
    We are exempt from corporation tax in accordance with Section 5 (1) No. 9 KStG and from trade tax in accordance with Section 3 No. 6 of the Trade Tax Act due to the promotion of nature conservation and landscape conservation, animal welfare, education and public education and youth welfare according to the last notice of exemption we received or according to the annex to the corporation tax assessment notice from the Singen tax office (tax number 18153/12059) dated 10.11.2022.

    In addition to the two managing directors, more than 20 other employees currently work in six units at the Radolfzell head office, the Berlin office and the Bonn office. The members of the Board of Directors and the Founders’ Council support the GNF on a voluntary basis.

    The Global Nature Fund has no corporate affiliation with third parties.

    For 2023, the GNF received project funding from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) amounting to 37% and from the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) amounting to 32% of annual income.
