What is the EUDR?

The EU Deforestation Regulation, or EUDR for short, is a new EU regulation that came into force in June 2022 and must be applied from December 2024. In future, companies that place certain raw materials such as soy, palm oil and beef on the EU market must ensure that their supply chains are free from deforestation risks.

What is the CSDDD?

The European supply chain directive CSDDD (Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive) contains environmental and human rights due diligence obligations as well as the obligation for large companies to draw up a climate plan.
