Avoiding emissions in companies

Project period: May 2023 - May 2025
We create transparency on the voluntary carbon market. How can companies use forest projects to offset emissions? The project supports companies in their selection and motivates them to reduce emissions instead of offsetting them.

Many companies set themselves climate targets and offset their emissions via the voluntary carbon market. They buy emission credits, for example from forest projects. We compile information specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises. This enables them to select suitable sustainable forest projects.

With this project, we support companies in defining and calculating unavoidable emissions and in designing and communicating their own climate commitment in a meaningful way.
