The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) brings changes for companies that import, export or trade raw materials such as soy, palm oil, wood, natural rubber, cocoa, coffee, beef or relevant products made from these. From December 30, 2025, companies will be obliged to prove that these raw materials have been produced without deforestation and in accordance with the legislation of the country of origin. Are you currently dealing with the requirements of the EUDR and would like to know how you can implement them in practice?

As part of the third online seminar in the series “Deforestation-free supply chains in practice”, the Business and Human Rights Helpdesk, in cooperation with the Global Nature Fund and the tropical forest foundation OroVerde, will shed light on the topic of “Teamwork for the EUDR: cooperation with suppliers”. Learn more about working with suppliers to implement the EUDR. We will also discuss experiences from the application of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG). OroVerde and the Global Nature Fund will then present a guideline for supplier communication and a questionnaire that were developed as part of the “E LAN: Deforestation-free supply chains – Active for more. Sustainability! ” have been created. You will receive valuable tips and advice for successful supplier communication and learn which relevant questions you should ask your suppliers in order to comply with the EUDR requirements. You can expect exciting input from a company that reports on its experience of working with suppliers.
