Environmental Action Germany (DUH)

The Deutsche Umwelthilfe (Environmental Action Germany) together with Rapunzel Naturkost had already supported several GNF projects in the past through the Hand-Hand-Fund. Currently, Deutsche Umwelthilfe supports GNF's Okavango project in Angola.

• Reforestation of Sea Buckhorn Trees in Mongolia
• Ecological Cultivation in Mongolia
• Sustainable Coffee Farming in Guatemala
• Reforestation of Mangroves in India
• Green Filter in Paraguay
• Living Fences in Columbia

• Reduction of Deforestation by Planting Trees and Introducing Improved Cooking Stoves in Burundi

ONE WORLD AWARD

On 19th June 2008, Lal Emmanuel, director of the Nagenahiru Foundation in Sri Lanka was honoured with the first international “One World Award” for his dedication in numerous sustainable projects, especially for the protection and reforestation of mangrove forest.
