{"id":27562,"date":"2026-09-15T10:16:05","date_gmt":"2026-09-15T08:16:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/globalnature.org\/job\/project-assistant-for-sustainable-development-nature-conservation-m-f-d\/"},"modified":"2026-09-15T10:16:05","modified_gmt":"2026-09-15T08:16:05","slug":"project-assistant-for-sustainable-development-nature-conservation-m-f-d","status":"publish","type":"job","link":"https:\/\/globalnature.org\/en\/job\/project-assistant-for-sustainable-development-nature-conservation-m-f-d\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Assistant for Sustainable Development &#038; Nature Conservation (m\/f\/d)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To strengthen our Sustainable Development &#038; Development Cooperation and Nature Conservation departments, we are looking for a highly organized and reliable person to assist with project administration and office management.<br \/>\n<strong>The position is for 20 hours per week (50%) and is initially a two-year fixed-term contract.<\/strong>  We are also aiming for a long-term partnership.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nYour tasks:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assistance in preparing financial reports for donors (spreadsheet analysis, exchange rate calculations, review of accounting documents);<\/li>\n<li>Assistance in preparing presentations for funders and donors;<\/li>\n<li>Assistance with image research, as well as with the maintenance and organization of the image database for communications and public relations activities;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating and taking minutes\/documenting project team meetings\u2014both online and in person\u2014as well as meetings with external parties;<\/li>\n<li>Assistance with preparing the project team&#8217;s business trips within the country and abroad, as well as with travel expense reports;<\/li>\n<li>Documentation and work at the interface between project management and administration at the GNF<\/li>\n<li>Simple correspondence with project partners in Germany and abroad;<\/li>\n<li>Organizing the mailing of contracts and funding requests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nYour profile:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You have completed a business apprenticeship, hold a bachelor\u2019s degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field, or possess a comparable qualification.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in project management or as a project assistant, as well as intercultural competence, are a plus.<\/li>\n<li>You are interested in issues related to sustainability, the environment, and nature conservation.<\/li>\n<li>For this position, you should have strong organizational skills and a meticulous, structured, and reliable approach to your work.<\/li>\n<li>You have a very good command of German and a good command of written and spoken English.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate across departments is just as much a part of your strengths as your communication skills, team spirit, and a friendly, service-oriented, and professional demeanor.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft 365 rounds out your profile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nOur offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We offer you a varied and meaningful position at an internationally active environmental foundation.
