The environmental foundation Global Nature Fund (GNF) is looking for a working student in Living Lakes & Nature Conservation (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

The Living Lakes & Nature Conservation unit at the Global Nature Fund (GNF) coordinates national and international projects for the protection of lakes and wetlands. One of these projects is the Living Lakes Biodiversity and Climate Project (LLBCP), funded by the International Climate Initiative (IKI). GNF is a non-profit foundation with currently 29 employees in Bonn, Berlin and Radolfzell on Lake Constance. Together with local civil society organizations and other stakeholders, we have been implementing projects in the field of environmental protection, resource conservation and development cooperation worldwide since 1998.
This position offers insights into international climate and nature conservation work, environmental education, project management and public relations. The place of work is Radolfzell on Lake Constance, mobile working is partly possible. The hours can be up to 20 hours per week.
Your tasks
- Collaboration in project communication and knowledge management (e.g. creation of communication materials);
- Research and preparation of content on topics such as biodiversity, wetlands and climate adaptation;
- Participation in the organization of events, e.g. Living Lakes webinars and conferences or local workshops;
- Participation in monitoring & evaluation, e.g. indicator recording, reporting;
- Support in the area of graphics/layout (optional, depending on previous experience).
Your profile
- You are an enrolled student at a university or college of environmental sciences, sustainability, communication design, international relations/management or a comparable degree program;
- You have an interest in international environmental work, biodiversity and sustainable development cooperation;
- Ideally, you are confident with MS Office and already have user knowledge of WordPress, Canva or Adobe;
- Independent and reliable work characterizes your way of working;
- We require a very good command of written and spoken German and English; and if you also have a good command of
