Biodiversity as a Component of Corporate Strategy

How companies can measurably protect biodiversity along the supply chain

On November 26, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., MaxTex, together with the Global Nature Fund (GNF) and Nala Earth, is hosting the webinar “Biodiversity in the textile industry – Responsibility and opportunities for companies”.

Biodiversity is the basis of intact ecosystems – and a central component of corporate responsibility. In particular, the textile and clothing industry influences biological diversity in many ways through its supply chains.

As part of the “Companies Biological Diversity (UBi)” project, GNF and Nala Earth show how companies can specifically integrate biodiversity into their strategies.

The webinar offers:
• an overview of biodiversity and its importance along the textile supply chain,
• insights into current regulatory developments,
• digital solutions for measuring and managing nature performance.

The GNF’s Biodiversity Check and practical examples from Nala Earth and MaxTex members will be presented, showing how natural data can be integrated into corporate processes – for greater transparency, resilience and sustainable management.

Further information and registration can be found on the MaxTex website.
